so, i knew i had left a few boxes of books and stuff here at my parents' house, and i was planning on going through them and shipping the last of it to seattle (and sending the rest to good will). what i had totally forgotten was how much i used to be into depeche mode. apparently i really collected them at some point (i don't even remember when) because i have a pile of albums and singles. hurray for 80s synthpop.
also lots of science fiction stuff from back in the day, and some graphic novels from around high school, including the big find: my copy of the never-completed (i think) graphic novel of neuromancer.
oh and the funny little LED switch box my dad made me when i was about 3, which looks like something kraftwerk would use on stage (or would have, before they became laptop wienies). most amazingly, the LEDs still light up after sitting in a box untouched for years.
