So, my last post about racing was a bit discouraged-sounding, but the resolution underneath it was essentially that I need to practice (and, perhaps, that if I conclude I dont' want to invest in practicing, I should get an easier car). anyway, I've basically committed to practicing more. I just ordered proper new tires for the MR2 and a handful of autocross things (including a helmet; no more loaners for me). I'm planning on spending next weekend racing and practicing, and I signed up for racing school in July. I'm expecting it all to be fun and educational. How much I want to devote to this hobby in the long run, I don't know, but this is shaping up to be the summer of racing.
