the frame courtyard house.
the courtyards frame a central living room, which opens into the courtyards
and the rest of the house through glass sliding doors. public space in the
house is designed to flow one room into another. the spaces are large and
open, intended for loose separations into functional areas. private areas
are a master bedroom suite and two smaller bedrooms that share a bath.
the courtyard separates areas of the house, providing some privacy for
each person. rooms are open to the courtyard via glass doors but may be
shut away with blinds.
